Lota Local is designed to save residents from checking many public council, community, event and service pages to understand what is happening nearby.
Coverage
Lota has clear homepage priority. Manly and Wynnum form the immediate surrounds. Extended bayside suburbs appear only where an item has a clear effect on the core community. Every item records why it passed the geographic filter.
Whole-community service
The service is non-partisan. Named schools, clubs and organisations are coverage priorities, not endorsements or a record of the owner’s family. Public comments are not part of version one.
